From hiring unqualified football coaches (1-9), unqualified volleyball coaches (5-19), firing the 20 year basketball coach for an unqualified coach who quits the day before their first game then having baseball and softball coaches quit because they can’t handle admin. Very interesting year for Don Lugo athletics indeed. Seems admin have things under control there.

What a surprise. This school is such a mess. First volleyball, then football. They currently do not have a head baseball or softball coach either. Now basketball. Ron Poteet and Dr Wong keep hiring unqualified coaches and wonder why the school is falling apart. They need to do the school and kids a favor and step down asap.

Robles stepping down will fix nothing. Until the principal Oliver Wong and athletic director Ronald poteet leave the school there will still be no change, just hire the next unqualified person. They have no care for the student athletes on campus. For example volleyball they hired a head coach Carissa with 1 year frosh experience never coached varsity. They had a record of 4-20, most of that program want her gone. Girls basketball who has not even started season yet the head coach Tasnim has never coached any level nor played the sport was given the job. Just about every girl in that program want her fired because she has no clue what she is doing. Players and parents of all these teams have made complaints to the school and district but there have been no change. We feel for all these student athletes because they are at a school where the admin do not care about them, they just continue to be ignored.

@Crown_n_Clover @rigobear72 @prestige1sports @coachmark_48 @chriscfore Not sure what started it. Strange because in the 4th quarter both teams came together to do a team prayer for a lugo player who suddenly collapsed on the field, paramedics were called, I believe he is okay cause he was able to walk off the field. Then after the game a fight.

Little bit longer view of the fight from Lugos nfhs camera. In the 4th quarter both teams came together to do a team prayer for a Lugo player who suddenly collapsed on the field. I believe he is okay, paramedics were called and he was able to walk off the field. Not sure what prompted the fight after the game.

@chchampsports @Sportscenetv @latsondheimer @chriscfore In october of 2024. The new coach had to quit after 4 days because she could not handle the time commitment it took to help with a program. This is no mere "Rialto Rule" this is a targeted set up to get Eric out of the school for raising Title IX concerns.

[CVUSD123 @cvusd123]

@chchampsports @Sportscenetv @latsondheimer @chriscfore Ron Poteet asked around campus trying to find anybody he could to take the job which resulted in a coach that has never coached any basketball nor played more than a year of high school basketball. This is confirmed because the new coach "Volunteered" for Erics program.

[CVUSD123 @cvusd123]

@chchampsports @Sportscenetv @latsondheimer @chriscfore The school properly flew the job internally which resulted in no interested applicants (Confirmed by HR). One week after it was flown Eric asked for the meeting to discuss the Title IX issues. The current AD Ron Poteet told him that someone applied which was not the case.

@coachmark_48 @CoachJKnight @ChinoValleyUSD Even at Don Lugo they fired the girls' basketball coach who has been there for 21 years for making a title IX complaint against the school.
