It may have been very cold but over 20 students from @BSNetherlands participated in their first cricket session @VoorburgCC yesterday.

There was a lot of talent on show, the BSN and VCC are looking forward to developing this opportunity.

After 4 weeks of our Sports Education football unit, we have a winner! Points were awarded for wins, draws, and demonstrating the BSN character profiles. Our student commissioner came up with the point categories. Well done Year 10! @BSN_SSV @BSNetherlands @tp_archer @cwadepe

Details of the new partnership between @BSNetherlands and @VoorburgCC have been sent home to all today via a Note Home.

The partnership increases access to cricket for our students & offers students the chance to participate in the new Friday Night Family Cricket @VoorburgCC.

Following on from Australian Rules Football, students in Year 8 @BSN_SSV have started to learn the rules and tactics of Kabaddi as part of their international games unit.

Students had to either tag an opponent or touch the baulk line - all whilst holding their breath!

The @BSN_SSV welcomed schools from Leiden today for the 2023 Leiden Schools’ Badminton Tournament.

Over 40 students aged 11 to 18, from beginners to advanced players, from across Leiden and Oegstgeest took part.

Congratulations to all those students that took part.

As part of their International Games unit, Year 8 students @BSN_SSV learnt the basics of Australian Rules .

They quickly learnt how to accurately handpass and bounce the ball whilst running before playing games.
