We at @docqai are sponsoring a #GenAI meetup organised by @neil_jap on 20th July in #London (near Old Street tube) with 3 demos lined up. Intentionally this is very application focused. Looking forward to seeing you there! @janaka_a

My friend @neil_jap built an interesting AI project on #instagram https://t.co/slKxJQOobZ
In his own words: "... that curated by an AI machine. Every other day, It takes 100 headlines from the day, then finds what It deems is the funniest one, then creates an image motif for it"
@sarahdrinkwater Yep gaming is always an issue. For landscape in particular I think the anonymous founders slack group complements the public review site well, as a fact checking / quick VC DD service. Well done Joe and Landscape team.
Almost all founders learn brutal lessons during the first year, but some learn them much more quickly. Obviously those founders are more likely to succeed. So it could be a useful heuristic to ask, say 6 to 12 months in, "Have we learned our brutal lesson yet?"
@janaka_a@subomiOluwalana Largely positive as #devex goes, but it implicitly made a lot of assumptions about how the underlying infra should be set up, which I suspect is based on how 37signal architects their new data centre and racks - permissions and networking in particular
- AI is eating software that has been eating the world up to this point.
- Newbies and expert-level devs look likely to benefit the most.
- For the rest, it could spell an existential crisis.
- As for AI self-initiated breakthrough, it remains to be seen whether it will happen.
Wrote a piece observing #AI / #LLMs' influence on #softwaredevelopment as a profession, as the first part of a series. https://t.co/1xcoMHQAbI
In this part, I talked about the following:
@janaka_a Usually gives me great satisfaction when I spot a coding issue with ChatGPT before actually running the code - but I have to run it to be sure, such is my confidence level vs ChatGPT :(
A knowledge & research insight app for the controlled use of LLM models and agents in any org from wall-gardened data. Built with @langchain@streamlit
Thanks @sarahdrinkwater for organising #ldnaihackathon!

One of my best reads in the past few years, that goes to show that life sometimes is more dramatic than drama and you don't need fictional drama to learn life lessons https://t.co/EynTsDOgkD
@sarahdrinkwater Looks fun, having been doing hackathon for years but would love to take part. Do you have a rough idea of when in April? Don't wanna sign-up only to find out I couldn't attend :)
