@EDTdunbar Gamification could be used as a summative assessment if used correctly to display students' knowledge and understanding of the key concepts of that unit. For instance, you have them create a game and provide answers that reflect their understanding of the key concepts. #wuedt6020

@banker_suz5899 I think that it is great that you are going to provide a mixture of old and new. It will provide a good balance. In Kindergarten, play is essential and one of the best ways to engage and keep their attention in order to help them remember and understand key concepts. #wuedt6020

@ChalimaS I would use it for reading, science, and Social Studies. In reading, science, and Social Studies we explore different time periods. It would be nice for students to see what it was like during that period of time in order to better understand the topic. #wuedt6020

@tompgavin Canva, FlipGrid, and Google Docs have been easy and accessible tools that I have used for group projects to promote collaboration among learners. Students have created advertisements using Canva. Flip Grid can be used to create commercials or book reviews. #wuedt6020

@EDTRobert @tompgavin I enjoy Schoology as well. I like that discussion posts that can be built-in and that students can send each other emails in order to collaborate. I love Google because of the auto-save feature. Nothing gets lost.
