Reason for the run: the Blue Jays "left the field" without appealing to 3rd.

Rule 5.09(c)(4): Appeal plays may require an umpire to recognize an apparent “fourth out.” If the third out is made during a play in which an appeal play is sustained on another runner, the appeal play decision takes precedence in determining the out. If there is more than one appeal during a play that ends a half-inning, the defense may elect to take the out that gives it the advantage.

For the purpose of this rule, the defensive team has “left the field” when the pitcher and all infielders have left fair territory on their way to the bench or Clubhouse.

A reporter asked President Trump something simple and honest today:

Saudi Arabia working with the United States. Qatar shooting down Iranian aircraft. Israel. European nations stepping up. Countries that never cooperate — cooperating.

Trump’s answer was three words.

“𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦’𝑟𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑙.”

Then he explained what that actually looks like.

Then he listed what Iran did to the very neighbors some people are claiming Iran was protecting:

Qatar. UAE. Saudi Arabia. Oman — the country that was ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐼𝑟𝑎𝑛 𝑛𝑒𝑔𝑜𝑡𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒 — got hit. Germany got hit. Everybody got hit.

“𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑏𝑜𝑑𝑦 𝑔𝑜𝑡 ℎ𝑖𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦’𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑙. 𝐼𝑡’𝑠 𝑎 𝑏𝑎𝑑 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑑, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑏𝑜𝑑𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑖𝑡.”

That’s why there’s unity. Not because the world loves America. Not because every nation agrees on everything. But because Iran made enemies of everyone within missile range — including the countries trying to save them diplomatically.

Then Trump described something that stopped him mid-sentence.

He was on the phone, looked at a TV, saw a crowd with his picture. His first instinct: 𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡.

Then he saw a woman hugging his photograph.

“𝐼𝑡 𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝐼𝑟𝑎𝑛���𝑎𝑛 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠. 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑠. 𝑃𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑑.”

Rallies in Los Angeles. Rallies in New York. Iranians in America holding up Trump’s picture — not in anger.

The people who actually know what this regime was?
