Many of our staff knew Ainzargul from the support CWS Durham provided when he first arrived.
We grieve his death and mourn this loss with his family.

Only on @WRAL: The man murdered on 12/30 in #Durham was an Afghan refugee who risked his life to help US troops in his home country.

According to a cousin, Ainzargul Totakhil was driving for Uber at the time of his death. He leaves behind a wife, 7 kids, and an 8th on the way.
