Sometime early this year… my friend told me he needed to tell me something and I should please just show up, if not he’s not sure he would ever be able to tell me again, as it took him a lot to even send that msg… we should meet up,
and shortly after then, he went offline…

That day it rained so much… so focken much… I promised him I was gonna come regardless so I went there in the rain. Everyone who knows me, knows I hate the rain, I get cold easily and have funny allergies plus… I HATE FLOOD!!

Anyways… that’s how I got to the estate and my friend’s phone wasn’t going through, bolt driver got angry and said he couldn’t wait long there cos the rain was getting worse and his car’s engine… I’m kuku considerate so I came down… rain beat me like a b@stard… I can’t explain it… has rain beat you to the extent that even those underwears are drenched?? That was me!!

Anyways… it took an hour before my friend was back online… maybe be thought I won’t show up cos of the rain.. he knows me… one of my problems in life is waiting…. So he started apologizing and me I wasn’t even listening… I said I’ve been at the gate, please come pick me up… he said he can’t drive right now… I’m like wtf is all these… like I was so mad but silent… that’s when I’m in some be@st mode😂😭
My friends prefer I talk when I’m angry than when I’m silent.

Anyways… he gave me the code and guess what? I had to trek aimlessly under the rain till I got to the house cos even Uber no gree. Everyone was cancelling. I didn’t mind paying from the estate gate to the house… even more but flood!!

I was a mess, literally!!

That’s how I got to the house and he was apologizing back to back… I mean I saw the two cars parked outside… I was wondering wtf is this and when did it start?? 😩😭

Anyways… like I was saying… he kept apologizing he told me there was a towel in the guest bathroom and I could just dry off.. I’m like dry off ke? Oga I’m dripping to my coochie and that’s not even sexual 😂😂😂

I’m sorry… back to the story.. I just went upstairs. Took a quick shower… I even forgot my wig was on… I showered with it. It was when I got out I’m like wtf man����

Anyways I got into comfy clothes… made myself a cup of green tea before I went downstairs.

I got downstairs and said ���Oya ooo let’s talk now because we must talk that talk today”

My friend started crying… his first words “Nwando I don’t want to d!e, Nwando I’ve worked so hard, I’ve fought, I’ve worked so hard, I don’t wanna d!e.”

Now, hear me out… this wasn’t just.. sobs, full blown tears… in all the years of being friends with him, I have never seen him cry, I have never seen him down, he has never complained… even when problems strike, he’s always pushing. So imagine my mood switch… I was in shock and confused.

“D!e ke?? You will never d!e young, I rebuke it in Jesus Name, what happened, is someone framing you,”… now, at this point, I wasn’t thinking… I was wondering. Like… what exactly is the issue.

Now that scared the shii out of me and made me sick cos 2hrs went by and he couldn’t get it out of his mouth… I say ahhhh… I came all the way from Sangotedo oo, have pity on me because I promised my dad I wasn’t gonna be long… prior to that convo, I had just bought foodstuffs and was ready to cook… so at some point I was thinking of my dad.

It got to a point I just texted my dad… “please daddy I may not be home tonight, I’ll explain later please” and trust my father, he starts calling me like I’m the heir to the throne😂😂😭

It wasn’t even funny.. I had to pick and tell him I’m fine but my friend is in the hospital… now that was a lie cos I was in his house!!
But at the sound of hospital?? My friend started crying so hard. Like it was uncontrollable. I begged Pops to put stuff in the fridge for me, that I’ll call back.

That’s how I went to him and knelt down, “please don’t say anything my love, just hug me, I beg you.”
