Edgar and Isabella live and work in one of Colombia’s “red zones” where Marxist rebel groups and guerrilla forces dominate through terror and extortion, often funded by narcotics trafficking and other illegal activity. Christians in these red zones are often violently persecuted.

When all of their town’s water sources dried up, one church in Kenya still had water in their well. Although the Muslim community had persecuted church members, the church shared their water with the community, providing opportunities to share the gospel with Muslims.
In prayer, our persecuted Christian family members make their appeals not to the authorities of their government, but to the Authority of heaven and earth. Christ is King, even in the most depraved and lawless of places. Christ is King, and he will ultimately set things right.
A pastor in a rural and remote part of a Central Asian nation was fined after around 100 people attended a church service in his home. Neighbors contacted the authorities, and the pastor was given a large fine. Pray for this pastor as he continues serving.
