Jack Smith on Trump’s behavior on January 6, 2021: “He was getting calls from people he trusts, people he relies on—and he still refused to come to the aid of the people at the Capitol. That’s evidence for criminal intent in our case.” @Acyn (2025)
The bad news is that Republicans have been handed a massive structural advantage in 2026.
The good news is, Trump is extremely unpopular and his voters are increasingly aware he lied to them about lowering costs.

Republican Congressman Thomas Massie reveals what many suspected: Trump vetoed a bipartisan clean drinking water project in Rep. Lauren Boebert’s district after she backed a petition to release the Epstein files.

Someone quietly placed a massive $920 million crude oil short at 3:40 a.m. ET this morning.
Just 70 minutes later, Axios reported the U.S. and Iran were close to a 14 point deal to end the war. Oil prices crashed, and someone made a fortune.
The golden age of corruption.
After Trump erroneously claimed the pope supports Iran having nuclear arms, the pope said the Church's mission is “to proclaim the Gospel, to preach peace.” It has opposed all nuclear weapons “for years.”
