The deeper I go into AI, MCPs, skills, agents, workflows, automation etc. the more I realize how far behind people who aren’t using AI are already getting.
And honestly, the gap is only going to get bigger. If we keep working the old way while the world moves toward AI first workflows, a lot of people are going to feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and eventually just give up.
That’s why I really feel like everyone needs to start shifting their mindset and learning how to work with AI, not just around it.
The future isn’t about working harder.
It’s about working smarter with AI.

One thing I appreciate about cybersecurity:
There's always something new to learn.
Instead of seeing that as overwhelming, I'm learning to see it as an opportunity to keep growing.
That's one of the reasons I enjoy this field.

AI is changing cybersecurity on both sides.
It helps defenders detect threats faster.
It also gives attackers new ways to automate phishing and reconnaissance.
Learning cybersecurity today means understanding how AI fits into the picture.

Today's takeaway:
Learning Bash scripting isn't just about writing scripts.
It's about automating repetitive tasks so you can spend more time analyzing problems instead of repeating commands.
Small skill. Big impact.

The more I learn about cybersecurity, the more I realize it isn't about "breaking into systems."
It's about understanding how systems work, identifying weaknesses, and helping make them more secure.
That's the mindset I'm building every day.

One thing I've learned from studying cybersecurity:
Attackers look for weaknesses.
Defenders look for patterns.
The better you understand systems, the easier it becomes to spot both.
Still learning. Still building.
