Sometimes you get an intense memory from 2004 of a place you went to in rural Japan and have to piece together your journal with whatever else you kept in order to triangulate it to somewhere in Ehime. Finding this Google photo compared to my physical print was SO satisfying.

On Friday afternoon it was time to let my sweet angel Herb go. He only had two years, and I’m so glad we had each other. Thank you for all of the love everyone has given him in his short time. May he be loved forever.

This one really got me. What a shocking loss, I’ve been avoiding to process it since I heard the news. He was important in so many different projects but in Destiny he was our pillar, a true fan of the game and the community and not just someone playing the character for profit.

My son came home today!! Thank you @catsburypark; to @turn_on_red for being an amazing foster. He’s skittish of everything except one toy but I know he’ll come around. His foster name was Herb; that’s super cute & so far I haven’t thought of anything better so it might stick!!
