My first game was with a friend who had set up a one-shot for people who never played before. Gave us some higher level characters so the game would keep moving. Little did he know I'd read all the rules books, so I knew exactly how to run a cleric against the undead. Good times.

@kevinbolk @DeadlyCapsule All 3 of my VHS decks chew up tapes. I didn't have time before I moved to try to get one repaired, but I haven't given up. Two of them are multi-system VHS, so a lot of the PAL recordings I have can be saved. The tapes themselves seem to be in fairly good condition, for now.

@Peakanime0 Funny story: Friend and I went to get dinner in Asakusa, Tokyo. Picked a random place. Sat down, ordered food, the owner puts on MAGNETIC ROSE. So we're all there watching this while the wife was serving us booze and fried animal parts. Amazing night.
