The singularity is usually defined as a hypothetical future threshold beyond which technological change becomes too rapid and transformative for ordinary prediction. Awe is the emotion that arrives whenever reality crosses such a threshold locally: whenever an experience outruns the model observing it.

The two share an architecture:

vastness → model failure → accommodation → expanded possibility

This is what I mean by the awe singularity: the moment possibility becomes too large for the identity that had organized itself around limitation.

Spent the past week using Opus 4.8, Fable 5, and ChatGPT 5.6 Sol together in the same codebase building a decentralized press. What surprised me most: I expected Fable to orchestrate, Opus to implement, and Sol to review. Instead, I keep reaching for Sol 5.6 for both implementation and review. The roles shifted in ways I didn’t expect.

Interesting to watch Ethereum’s institutional evolution. The Ethereum Foundation seems to be intentionally getting leaner and more focused on core protocol stewardship, while we’re now seeing independent organizations emerge like Ethlabs (R&D) and Ethereum Institutional (institutional adoption), alongside commercial efforts like Etherealize. What’s especially interesting is that companies like BitMine and SharpLink are now helping fund and accelerate parts of the ecosystem that the Foundation deliberately stepped back from. It feels like Ethereum is evolving into a much more distributed institutional network—potentially a stronger model as Wall Street continues moving on-chain. Curious to see how this plays out.
