finally heard Borderline on a better computer and OH MY GODD at the start of every verse in the chorus, there's a blip like sound. made my whole day wow
1:41, 1:51, 2:01, and then follow the same at the end also
Si usted sufre de miedo adopte un gato.
–Si escuchó un ruido extraño: Es el gato.
–Se abrió la puerta sola: Es el gato.
–Viste una sombra pasar: Es el gato.
–Te tocaron el pie: Es el gato.
an author can really ruin all other fics for you by coming up with the most perfect characterisation that will haunt you every time you try to read anything else
The X shaped cross you see next to the metro is Chikkapete Cross, the birthplace of Bengaluru.
It was here Kempe Gowda used bullock carts to plough roads on NS-EW directions.
But it's anything but heritage today. Literally the most congested place. Needs massive redevelopment!
Chikkapete is in such a sorry state and it no longer ressembles anything for what it stood before. This is not how the birthplace of Bengaluru should be treated, it deserves better.
It already has a great public transport access, but the entire area is a nightmare to navigate.
What you are suggesting exists in every country in Europe (S-Bahn in Germany, Swiss; RER - France) that connect cities with suburbs and neighbouring towns every X mins
In India there is no infrastructure present at stations, yards, signalling or tracks to support such a concept.
#Tavarekere
This is the sixth and last station on the elevated stretch of the #PinkLine, and it comes with what is likely the biggest station name board in the Namma Metro network. From here, the corridor transitions underground, with Dairy Circle being the next station on the route.

the tension between me and this girl at work got so noticeable that even people from other teams started picking up on it. then one day she looked me straight in the eye and asked kya hai tumhare dil mein? i said dil mein mere hai dard e disco
@cycleful While dividing is a great idea given the shortage, Silk Board to Bellandur should've opened first imo.
It'd definitely un-clog the endpoints of Ragigudda Flyover!
@NishantNarula25 Oooh, I agree! Especially since there'll be some sort of continuity from Silk Board to the rest of the area! It wouldn't be the bad ol' Whitefield-KRP > bus to BYP since Tin Factory wasn't open > BYP-purple line situation
Labour shortage aside, am I only one who thinks this is indeed a good idea? Opening up some stretches of the line is much better than keeping it on hold forever. Bellandur to BYP/Tin Factory is such an imp stretch
Looks like BMRCL will go ahead with dividing Phase 2A and first Bayyapanahalli to Bellandur will open first and then Bellandur to Silkboard!
Afcons Labour shortage looks severe!!
Are we ready to have the conversation about how security checks in Namma Metro need to go?
1. Is a massive waste of time, increases friction, and causes burnout esp for short distance travel
2. Doesn't help security in any way. Do you know how much time a proper security check would take? Compare it with the time it takes to do checks in airports.
3. Are a drain on resources. Bengaluru's metro is the most expensive in the country. Why aren't we looking at ways to cut out frivolous expenses?
In the picture - the evening crowd in queue for the security check at the Swami Vivekananda Metro Station.
This metro station has just one entrance, and every evening there is a long queue with every person waiting for a good 7 to 8 minutes just to get in.
Imagine reaching here, tired, after work, having to remove your bag, spread your arms, it's a humiliation ritual that serves no purpose.
