I have a question for Texas Gov. Abbott. You plan to pardon Daniel Perry who was convicted of murder by a jury of 12 Texans. An elected Texas Judge accepted the verdict and sentenced Perry to 25 years. A Judge and Jury heard all of the evidence and decided this man committed murder. You say he was just "standing his ground" and should be pardoned and released. Gov. Abbott you heard Donald Trump call the man who shot Ashlie Babbitt a "thug". This man was standing his ground to protect the Capitol from a dangerous mob intent on murder. They were actually chanting who they were going to murder. My question Gov Abbott. Will you condemn Donald Trump for calling this man a murderer and a thug for "standing his ground"? Or is Stand Your Ground only good when white men kill black men? To the GOP. One is a thug.
