@samapodaca@Chin_No_Manches@Wormy____ Agreed… x1000. I still think Scott’s ok, but Andrew Siciliano was worlds better. Anyone who says otherwise probably didn’t even have redzone back then.
@SouthernUSA1@marvey_crypton@Starlink It’s not the $3.50 that matters. It’s the potential to lose internet for 2 hrs during a work day. My wife had a meeting with a multi mill $ client at 3:30 and lost internet for 2 hrs at 3:25. In rural USA there’s no starbucks or way to even call and let them know what’s going on
@RodsPoppin@medman2525@elonmusk Thoughtful. I own my own small biz and she is a PM at her company and internet access is essential to keep the gears turning and $ flowing. Yes, we live in a rural area but when you pay $120/month for internet you expect it to work, not go out for 2 hrs at 3pm on a Thursday
@medman2525@elonmusk Sorry but 2 hours in the middle of a work day before a weekend isn’t brief. In a rural area where starlink is appealing, we can’t drive to a starbucks and get back on a work meeting. My wifes working till 9pm now and hopefully didn’t lose a big client.
@elonmusk @ $120/month we shouldn’t be worried about internet/important meetings. I’ve always been a supporter of you but my wife is calling our local ISP tomorrow. At the very least this month should be free, hopefully that might convince her to stay (though probably not)
@elonmusk We’ve been loyal to starlink 2 years now and it’s been pretty good for a rural area, but losing service for 2 hours in the middle of a busy work day right before the weekend is *extremely* disappointing. My wife was scheduled to lead a big client meeting via teams at 3:30 EST
@GovofCO Letting the premium tax credits expire will quadruple my insurance payments and I’m on the lowest cost/highest deductible plan there is. This is projected to cause 5.1 million more Americans to lose insurance by 2026 (in addition to the 11.8 million by 2034 from medicaid cuts).
@GovofCO I can’t seem to understand why no one acknowledges it isn’t just Medicaid cuts (which are also wrong)— there are also cuts to the affordable care act which many hardworking, middle class, small business owners in America have been using since its inception (myself included).
@TheImmortal007 @MarioNawfal Bernie owns 2 homes (used to be 3 but sold his small townhouse in DC). His net worth is around $3 million mostly from his books and he’s one of the least wealthy members of congress. He doesn’t engage in insider trading like the rest of the corrupt politicians on both sides
@GovPhilScott You’re pushing all the hard working young families out of Vermont, and signing a death warrant for our beloved rural schools. All that will be left here are old people and junkies. Bussing kids hours over mountains isn’t feasible, you are hurting children/families. Shame on you.
