This from the bbc article about the transportation of the Bayeux Tapestry…. Is it ‘tears’ as in ‘a tear in the fabric of space time’ or is it ‘tears’ as in ‘all these moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain’ ?
@CliveTyldesley Every week, she starts each of her articles in exactly the same way, with an anonymous source quotation. Aside from any critique of her ‘journalism’ she’s just a very poor writer
@AttractionSc Merlin need to go fully all in with this one - none of the usual budget cutting please! This IP is *hugely* popular and the theming needs to reflect that!
@ThemeParkWW I can’t understand why UK parks don’t have more indoor sections to them - not necessarily a whole indoor park but decent sized indoor themed areas? With the amount of rain we get it surely makes sense to have places people can go in all weathers
@CoasterJoey Can Merlin even sell Towers as a site? If I recall correctly, didn’t they sell the physical sites to a real estate investment trust and now just operate the sites on a lease?
@BrawPolitics@garyseconomics ‘My lefty pals’ LOL. Neat use of language to link me to people I don’t even know in real life lol. I bet you’re happy that your right wing pals get easy rides in interviews ain’t ya
@markcooperjones@BNBuzz@Hanover_Square Can I just say that it was great meeting you and @jayforeman at the Piccadilly event! My son and I really enjoyed it and you guys were so generous with your time
@PhilHumber1@ThemeParkWW Yes hopefully. It is a little strange visiting a park with no rides but the shows are very good and the indoor walkthroughs are absolutely incredible, some of the best theming I’ve ever experienced. And the overall ambience of the park is very nice
