Instead, we've chosen to forge our own path toward self-government in Saskatchewan. Emphasizing our inherent identity as Métis, asserting our right to determine our own destiny, confident that we know what's best for our people. With pride in our council's unity, we declared our journey towards true self-government as clearer than ever before. Our narrative, rooted in resilience, now shines with triumph, and I eagerly anticipate advancing alongside my colleagues, government partners, and, most significantly, our citizens.
