On this day in 1965, Capel Celyn was drowned to create a reservoir for Liverpool.

It became a symbol of Wales’ powerlessness under Westminster rule.

Today, we have our own government, and it is vital that we defend Wales' future and stand strong against decisions that don’t serve the people who call this country home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Today marks the anniversary of Aberfan, where 116 children and 28 adults were killed.

This disaster was a result of the failure's of the National Coal Board.

We must never forget those lost, never again.

It should never have been agreed to go ahead with this twp pairing system using the boundaries of a different legislature we know doesn't work for Wales. The Commission's hands are completely tied by statutory requirements and the result is a mess. Radnor and Swansea...🤨

Yes, a frighteningly low turnout. Will need to spend the Town Councillor term speaking to people who didn't vote and finding out what they need done to re-engage them in the community decision-making process.
