Padre Pio died in 1968. In 2008, 40 years after his death, his body was exhumed and found remarkably well-preserved.

But here’s the part that should make you stop and think:

THE SAINTS ARE NOT DEAD.

They are alive in Christ. They are in Heaven, beholding the face of God and interceding for us.

Death did not destroy them.

Because for those who belong to Christ, death is not the end.

“He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” ✝️❤️

The saints are alive. More alive than us on earth.

And one day, if we remain faithful, we will see them again.

Aside from avoiding the constant billing from friends and relatives, learn to avoid bad news too.

Some people have this habit of transferring whatever they’re going through directly to you. Every problem, every tragedy, every disturbing story, they must make sure you experience it with them.

Some will randomly send you gory pictures or videos of a diseased body part without warning. Others will constantly forward sad stories about people you don’t even know, until your timeline and WhatsApp become a daily dose of tragedy.

You can care about people without carrying everything they carry.

If someone makes a habit of dumping disturbing content and bad news in your inbox, archive their chat. Protect your peace too. Not everything needs to reach you.

Men are losing their minds because women have found their voice and have the means to leave toxic and draining relationships. Instead of us to look inwards and be better, we want to focus on clamping women and controlling every other thing on the outside.

I’ll tell you this, they’ll get freer and it’s for the best. You should only be married or in a relationship with a woman if you’re responsible. Men, we’ve been having our way since the beginning of time. Women now have a choice as it should have been.

There will be many more divorces but also stronger homes. Marriage will no longer be a power play but a thing of deep commitment as God originally intended.
