start from a spec, just yap into gpt pro and create a good spec. talk with claude/codex about it and update it till their understanding matches yours. claude has a nice interview tool.

then put it back in gpt pro and create an implementation plan. give it to codex gpt-5.2-codex xhigh and ask to see it to completion. unlike claude, it usually does.

i guarantee it would give you a better starting point from which you could use claude if you prefer.
