@abbydphillip HICCUPS! I get these too often and found a solution - lemon. If when eating out, order a slice of lemon. Bite lemon, hold in mouth a moment, stops hiccups. At home I put lem-juice on cloth, do same. The sourness stimulates vagus nerve, works 100% for me. Try it, good luck!
