Yes, they are two completely different products.

DETFs are about managing a portfolio of assets, not about trying to maintain a pegged price.

A DETF can have a pegged price, but that's just a reference point for when the asset management needs have been met.

This guy doesn't understand Batman. He's an idiot.

Batman doesn't kill for a few reasons, depending on the author.

It's his weakness. He can't bring himself to potentially killing someone's family.

He would give in to revenge. Once he started he wouldn't stop.

And finally, not his duty. Gotham City hasn't entrusted Batman with the authority to execute criminals. If the city wants to execute the villains, they are free to do so after Batman catches them.

Not some bullshit holier than thou attitude.

Depends on the jurisdiction, but usually, no, there isn't.

So long as you don't provoke the conflict, defense doesn't care why you're there to help.

Technically, super heroes aren't vigilantes. If he killed, than he would be a vigilante.

It is typically legal for a civilian to come to the defense of another. And it is usually legal for a citizen to detain a criminal until the police can apprehend them.

Most super heroes are just doing what every citizen is allowed to do.

Even the investigations. Private investigators get wide lattitude when it comes to invading privacy.
