At an airport in Kerala today , a toilet attendant told me quietly:
“Madam, they don’t even flush after use.”

She keeps the toilets clean with grace and dignity, yet so few even say thank you.
We’re quick to salute the flag, but slow to respect the floor beneath it.
Civic sense is simple — flush, keep it clean, say thank you, acknowledge the unseen. It starts with me, you, them, everybody. Let it be a national calling.
That toilet attendant serves the nation. Respect her.

@NMenonRao Actually people do not flush inspite of the facility available....shameful .they want others to do their dirty work...which we end up doing at times. Be it at the airports, clubs, railways stations, restaurants etc. No respect for the next person. A salute cleaner for sure.

#BMCHward #trafficpolicemumbai this guy leading a bunch of cows in the lanes and across the signals in the Khar Tel. Exch. lane, mumbai while blocking traffic and with couldn't care less attitude...and also kept poking the cows at the back with something....cruel and sad scene.

@Primark a huge multi national fashion store at Kingston, on enquiring was told a couple of days back that there are no toilet facilities for customers! I was shocked!
