Why is @MCO the worst airport? It should be the entrance to the happiest place on earth. Instead, it’s a gateway to hell. Today’s issue: a literal line to get on a train after arriving.
As someone who lives near Orlando, I’ve already started looking for flights out of Miami as opposed to connecting, since Miami has much better options to the Caribbean and Europe.
@milesintransit1 the hourly frequency isn't bad, but i don't think it will lead to a reduction in flights or codesharing between Orlando and Miami, as some have been speculating today, because the frequency just isn't enough, especially with the (relatively) small capacity on the trains
Why is @insideFPL so bad? The quality of power delivered sucks. It’s not anywhere near a clean sine wave, and it ‘blips’ several times a day nearly every day. I’ve invested more in UPSs since I’ve lived here than anywhere else I’ve lived.
@paugom@JeffPassan I can speak from personal experience last month. I had just finished my first beer and was wondering why everyone around me was standing and singing. I didn't have another once I realized where we were at in the game.
@CarlyleSmith@DutchSpace@planet4589 USCG Sector Jax, USCG Port Canaveral, Port Canaveral, Eastern Range, and SFB Patrick all posted them in various places. Or just call the USCG, or listen to channel 16. I’ll agree that they’re not as easy to find as NOTAMs, but they are out there.
@AirwayScience@wpbinc 1) Print actual key caps 2) sell to adult enthusiasts. 3) ????? 4) Profit and help even more kids. This is a fundraiser I would totally buy into.
@bryry80@flightradar24 Not just the western half. The map appears that way because they were still asleep when the ground stop occurred. More flights were already airborne in the eastern states than the western states
@JohnSpaulding I’m going to CT next weekend. The Caribbean is also on the list next month. I’d like to say skiing too, but haven’t done that in years. Summer vacation is way more popular here than winter since it’s balls hot out.
