Ed è questo che rende la sua ultima frase così difficile da pronunciare. Le persone che stanno elaborando questo momento con più onestà non sono quelle che vanno nel panico o festeggiano. Sono quelle che hanno costruito ciò che è appena diventato una merce, sedute con la strana consapevolezza che il mercato non dà più valore alla loro abilità più rara.

Il miglior programmatore in sala ora ha lo stesso output del miglior prompt in sala. E la persona che ha costruito da zero l'organizzazione ingegneristica di Facebook vi sta dicendo, a bassa voce, che sta ricalibrando il significato di "essere utili".
