@xsillyrana@clevelandshake In order to fuck you WILL be attracted. An Asexual CANNOT be attracted to anybody. An Aromantic CANNOT be romantically attracted to anybody. That's the point. They can have HAD sex or HAVE dated, but they will not continue. It's very easy. It's just been watered to allo 2.0
@xsillyrana@clevelandshake This person also openly admitted to having sex and a relationship of their own free will. That is not aroace. People are going to cry "WhAt AbOuT AttRaCtiOn Vs AcTioN" and if this is the best they have, I feel very sad for them.
@xsillyrana@clevelandshake Graysexual IS the spectrum everyone wants. It always has been. It is not ace, but it isn't allo either. It is literally, by definition, the "little to rare" attraction and is, again by definition, BETWEEN asexual and allosexual. So. No. Demi would be Gray.
@xsillyrana@clevelandshake It is not "little, no. The "little" came from AVEN, whose owner purposely changed it against the old community vote. It is and ALWAYS has meant "None." or "Not". That is what the "A" means. Much like "A"Thiest. Aro is Ace's sister identity, and follows it. So it was affected.
@xsillyrana@clevelandshake Neat! + No it isn't. It's considered one because of active erasure. It's too late at night for me to fight this right now. Just read my old replies or visit the actual asexuals subreddit for better insight.
@littlemissfem As someone who lives with one of my best friends for the money benefits and and are not cuddly or anything at all (literally just roomies), no. You absolutely can exist with someone at your side that cares enough to be there for and with you. Without Sex. She is opposed to it too
@Klay94273900@SillyGoober195@beebewriting It's hilarious isn't it? The double standard is crazy. If you aren't into sex then your opinion is therefore wrong. I've seen people get banned on reddit's sub threads for asexuality for expressing their dislike for the sexualizations all over. Hypocrisy is strong here.
@SillyGoober195@Klay94273900@beebewriting@SillyGoober195 It's fine if they "hate" me, I've been shunned from many places for simply having my viewpoint readily on display in my discord profile. I don't even have to say anything. I only speak on this account for the sole purpose of this. lol. Cry harder.
@SillyGoober195@Klay94273900@beebewriting Not a spectrum. The only reason I "hate" them is because they support the waterlogging and erasure of an already tiny minority and the only defense they have for it is defining how sexually attracted and not ace they are, marital rape, and the lengths they'll go for it.
@beebewriting@chikoritta_mint Oh you're a Yumeshipper with Alastor. Makes sense. Projection goes crazy hard with this one. Yeah, thinking over his personality there's a high chance he'd hate you lol.
@Scrimshaw_Bill@zoeowo6@CursedGoo It is. This is a known issue in the community that is only going to get worse until the bubble pops and someone gets too tired of it. Consider the contradictory "sexual aces" larpers or part of the middle ground outside of asexuality, due to having caveats to have sex.
@m4ch0t3@mounira_k0 In order to separate "sexuals who were largely asexual but not actually asexual" from the actual asexuals, since asexuality's definition is "rigid", much like Heterosexuality is.
@m4ch0t3@mounira_k0 Graysexual is the spectrum people are after. It is the "little" you mentioned. The problem is it's been shoved into asexuality, for some reason or another, so common words describe it as "part of the ace spectrum" when it isn't. It left to be it's own thing around 2014 IIRC +
@rasunchan@beebewriting Certainly not the Founder of AVEN, that's for sure. They felt justified under this act of bad faith and what was once a prideful symbol of rebellion against an overly sexual world has been ripped asunder and fed to the people it stood as its own separation from.
@rasunchan@beebewriting I mention it bc it was the root cause and the root cause was too late getting "fixed" and nobody bat an eye and anyone who stepped in was shut down immediately. Grays outnumber Aces 100 to 1, as i have said, so those who wanted the Ace label, took it, bc who was gonna stop them?
@rasunchan@beebewriting Focusing on the "now" is not the point of mentioning AVEN. When it was active, the point of the site was to BE the Ace site. It was where people went to understand asexuality. This is why the change sucked and why AVEN is responsible to this day. It caused a bad faith change.
