The #Starliner spacecraft is back on Earth.
At 12:01am ET Sept. 7, @BoeingSpace’s uncrewed Starliner spacecraft landed in White Sands Space Harbor, New Mexico.
#Starliner landed today at White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico at 12:01 a.m. ET on Sept. 7 (10:01 p.m. MT on Sept. 6). Teams on the ground welcomed the spacecraft and are now preparing to transport Starliner back to Florida for analysis and refurbishment.

The initial phase of Starliner's return to Earth has gone smoothly. The next major milestone will be a deorbit burn to enter Earth's atmosphere at 11:17 pm ET (03:17 UTC Saturday).
The space environment is a great model system for looking at new drugs and ways to approach problems we all face as human beings. For example, an osteoporotic woman here on the ground can lose about 1% of her bone mass a year. In space, it's about 1% a month, which is one of the reasons that astronauts are required to exercise 2 hours a day.
The report suggests Gateway is behind schedule and of limited use to lunar and Mars landings. It suggests Gateway will be complex to undertake at the same time NASA attempts to establish a lunar surface program. Other than that, everything is going great.
