A year and a half ago, D2 College Football Spotlight started when I was going through a rough stretch.

I lost my job as a graphic designer and found myself stuck sending out applications and waiting for answers that never came.

I needed something to focus on, so I used the skills I had and started making content.

At first, it was just something to keep me busy.

Then it became a lot more than that.

The more time I spent around D2 football, the more I realized how many great stories were sitting right there.

Players fighting for their chance. Coaches building programs. People putting in work without much attention.

That’s what we wanted to highlight.

Over the last year and a half, this page grew into something special. Over 8,000 followers. Millions of impressions.

Then the account got hacked and eventually suspended.

That sucked.

After everything that went into building it, walking away crossed my mind.

But the people around me kept pushing me to start again. They reminded me how much this meant and how many stories were still out there.

So here we are.

Life looks different now. I changed careers and have less time than before, but I’m still going to keep building this the best way I can.

Thank you to everyone who has supported it...my family, friends, coaches, players, and everyone who gave this a chance.
