It's a sign of the times, where everyone has to have an opinion on everything and try to force nuance into topics that have none.

I've even had people unironically argue with me that celebrating a minor commiting suicide is fine because they were part of the opposing political party. If we can't even universally agree that children killing themselves is wrong anymore, we're beyond lost.

It's just a bunch of people who won't ever actually engage with what they're talking about trying to justify why other people are evil for liking it and why they're righteous for not.

I don't like to label people in binaries like "good" and *bad" anymore, I think it does a disservice to how complex humans are, but surely the "good person" these people strive to be so badly don't need to harass others for liking something they don't.

Last I checked naturally kind hearted and righteous people don't need to virtue signal to prove those aspects, nor bully others for what fiction they enjoy.

@sapphix8ed a lot of people have more problems with TLOU2 than just Joel dying at the start of the game and you having to play as his killer, and many of them are actually very valid critisisms. believe it or not, it is possible to understand the point of the game and still not like it
