$100 can actually turn into $100,000 if enough people stop being overly serious and acting like they are too smart for memes now
Remember nobody came originally to memes to act ultra smart
You came to memes to have a shot at life changing money and because the world is rigged against you, and this is one of the few ways out
Stop being the overly serious guy bc you got your heart broken by some past failure buying a shitcoin
We can do a 2021 like run again if ppl get their head out of their ass and concentrate a little into a meme that can actually hit 69B
And with memecoins, you dont NEED to hit 69B to make life changing money
But WHY NOT meme it into existence when you have the right coin to do it
No other meme has ever looked this good with a 69B market cap next to it
I couldn’t believe this happened today. It has never happened at the previous 6 events we’ve ran, and I’d be just as pissed as every vendor there.
I’m personally refunding any vendors at Card Party who pay for the fee (processed many already).
Emails were sent to all vendors at 2pm PT Friday with details on sending receipt in for the refund.
I don’t even know who to blame at the moment but that’s not as important as just making it right with the vendors who are extremely important for putting on a great event. Ultimately, it falls on me since it’s my event, and I’m sorry for all the bs this morning to our vendors.
We sold Friday only tickets to increase foot traffic for the first time this year, and we even have a vendor specific happy hour Sat night - trying to show the vendors we care and then boom - surprise fee.
Sucks, but it happened and I’ll eat the cost.
🚨 Teamsters Turn San Diego Card Party Into a $150 Union Toll Booth
Card-show vendors at San Diego’s Card Party say they were charged $150 just to roll their own inventory into the event on carts.
These vendors are not giant corporations. They’re mostly hobbyists, collectors, and small business owners trying to bring boxes and cases of cards to tables they already paid for.
They expected loading-dock rules. What they say happened instead is that the “anything with wheels” rule was allegedly enforced at the front door too.
This is union power running wild — a $150 toll booth for ordinary people trying to move their own inventory into a show they already paid to attend.
