XBOX CEO Asha Sharma says that gamers want physical media, so they are announcing when you purchase a game you get both

They are keeping physical discs, and when you buy one it will come with a digital entitlement

How it will work:

- Put the disc in an Xbox that has a disc drive
- Launch the game
- Claim a digital license on your Xbox account
- After that, you can play the game without putting the disc in, the disk will still work like a normal game disk

The digital license is tied to that specific disc, not permanently locked to you forever

If you sell or give the disc away and the new owner inserts it and claims it, the digital license moves to their account and comes off yours

This is the way it would be. Getting both physical media and digital media that you can own and sell

Launch is with 1,000 games and more coming later

✅Microsoft is allegedly telling publishers its next console, Project Helix will be entirely physical and will allow users to convert physical games into digital copies.

✅Sony reportedly realized that forcing a digital-only approach leaves a massive opening for competitors to capitalize on consumer demand for physical games.

✅A major unnamed game publisher (confirmed not to be Rockstar) reportedly threatened to skip PlayStation and release their massive upcoming title only on XBOX and Nintendo if Sony couldn't guarantee a physical release.

We recently welcomed an unusual visitor to our Warsaw Headquarters! 🦆

A female mallard chose the home of The Witcher 4 as the perfect place to build her nest. She laid eight eggs and cared for them attentively throughout the nesting period. REDs made sure to give her plenty of space to ensure a safe and peaceful environment.

After the ducklings hatched last month, and with the support of Warsaw’s Municipal Guard Eco Patrol, the whole family was safely relocated to one of Warsaw’s parks, where they can continue their journey in a more natural setting.
