@leecronin 👏we can and must to better to incentivise broader opportunities and progress in science. As an industry it requires a better and more equitable org structure and more broadly bankable+sustainable business model. I am working on something and so are others.
Yesterday @Mckinsey released their annual "Women in the Workplace" report in partnership with @LeanInOrg. Historically this report has provided an important benchmark on the role of women in the labor economy and the impact of macro and micro. Quick 🧵

So sad for Yale and the world to lose David Swensen. I had the privilege of working in his office for most of my time as an undergraduate and every summer in the mid-80s. I took his investments class the first year he taught it as endowment manager. A really warm human being.
So many folks (esp. the media) are missing the complete backstory on $GME and how we got here.
This has been simmering for over a year and the story behind it is great. I’ve been tracking this since September and devoured all of the details from the origin through today.

@jsmian , thank you so much for putting this together on @twitter I am sure this is by no means an exhaustive summary, but very thoughtful and well constructed to reignite the discourse toward facing and addressing this issue
1) I haven’t been satisfied with the coverage of renewed race tensions in America. So, I decided to take it on.
I’m surprised more people aren’t looking in and connecting the dots between historical facts. There are obvious clues for America’s future history.

1/ With all the recent buzz around SPACs, I thought I’d share my experience working on the IPO for @Tesla (as junior analyst/glorified coffee fetcher) -- where I saw @elonmusk tear up the traditional playbook 10 years before anyone else was even questioning it. It worked. 👇
