If you think my post last night about Afghan islamists raping and abusing young boys was shocking, this will really shock you to the core.

They will lecture you about Islamophobia and then ask you to look away from a book the Islamic Republic printed in the founder’s name. This is one of the most disturbing things you will ever see.

Tahrir al-Wasila is not a rumor and it is not a blog. It is Khomeini’s manual of rulings, volume two, marriage chapter, issued by the institute that exists to spread his teaching.

He draws a line at nine for intercourse and then keeps going. Other sexual use of a girl who has not reached that age is written as no problem.

The text does not stop at a child. It discusses a nursing infant in the same file, and it treats the man as a party to a contract rather than a criminal.

If the child is injured, the remedy in that system is money and a private sin before Allah. Not a prison. Not a rescue. Not a law that recognizes a baby as a human being.

That is why the denials are a tell. Nobody defends a printing press this hard unless the page is real. A state that still sanctifies the author of that book is not a normal government having a foreign-policy disagreement with Israel. It is a regime whose founding jurist put the sexual use of children into the law and called it jurisprudence.

The West keeps inviting the heirs of that system to its campuses and its streets and then wonders why the moral language never matches.

This is Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Biss, from Jabalia, walking toward the hospital that kept her alive with about twenty pounds of explosives sewn into her clothes.

In late 2004, a gas canister blew in her home and burned her badly. Israel took her into Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, treated the wounds, and sent her home with permits to come back for more care.

In June 2005 she used those same papers to try to get through the Erez Crossing. Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah (Mahmoud Abbas’s group), had given her three targets to choose from… a bus, a cafe, or the hospital and doctors that had treated her.

She chose the hospital.

She later said she wanted to kill dozens of people there, INCLUDING CHILDREN.

Guards noticed her awkward walk. They pulled her aside, so she yanked the detonator. But it failed to detonate. Sappers later blew the belt in a controlled explosion.

The IDF arrested her at the Erez Crossing, and a military court gave her twelve years.

Then Palestinian television did what it always does with these people. It praised her. It thanked her for the sacrifice. It thanked her for wanting Jews dead.

In 2011 Hamas traded hostage Gilad Shalit for more than a thousand prisoners. Yahya Sinwar walked out in that deal. So did she.

The next day children were brought to her house in northern Gaza. She told them she hoped they would walk the same path, and that Allah willing some of them would become martyrs. The kids cheered. She said the button had failed at the last second and she was sorry she had not been martyred.

Years later she was still saying she would do it again in a minute, that she had almost tasted paradise, and that killing Jews at the hospital that saved her was her calling.

That is who came home in the Shalit deal. Not a girl who made a terrible mistake. A woman the society sent, celebrated, and then handed back to the same children.

Watch the video. This isn’t resistance. That’s a patient trying to murder her doctors who saved her and as many civilians and children as possible, and a Palestinian society calling it holiness.
