Chinese don't use credit like us Americans. It's a cultural thing, and they typically park their wealth in real estate.

There's a lot of wealth flowing around China, and those with cash will funnel it through blackmarket exchanges where individuals with RMB will exchange with individuals that need RMB but have USD. It is very very common but obviously not legal in the eyes of the CCP.
