@kim_anh looks like enough space to follow the genre>subgenre ordering. obviously, with more records there will be a need for some sacrifices here and there as one genre will start taking over the other and such. but thats the nature of collecting records one has to live with :)

@kim_anh then it also depends what kind of storage you use of course. you can use some stickers on the shelves to guide you or in case of ikea kallax for example use one for this sort of style and other for that sort of styles where each box in it will have its own subgenre for example.

@kim_anh personally, I have bunch of bulks like that which are roughly ordered as the new records come in into that bulk or as I put them back after djing, so by latest "play date" so to say :) after a while you will know what is where and get used to it, unless its thousands of records

@kim_anh follow the same logic within subgenres then, e.g. if you have bigger collection of acid house, put them together in one place. but if its small amount of this sort of house and that sort of house, bulk them into one, you will have an idea what is what when diggin
