So cruising through the feeds many Hindus are freaking out about a number of issues:
🔺because the anti-caste bill #SB403 is most probably going to be passed in California after California Assembly passed it several days ago. Some of the complaints by Hindus are:
🔺they think this is a discrimination against Hindus. (rolls eyes but very telling)
🔺they feel it is a hate Campaign against Hindu’s (false victim mentality)
🔺there aren’t enough legal cases of people charged with caste discrimination in the past few years, so it’s not needed. (With this line of thinking perhaps that’s why India has one of the highest numbers of unreported rape cases which they aren’t addressing.
There are many reason victims of abuse don’t come forward, fear, retaliation and the cost and time of a filing legal claim and hiring lawyers.
🔺at the end of it all we have the *anti-Sikh Campaign* by Hindu nationalists who are not used to seeing Sikhs be believed and even support; and they inappropriately see this as hate campaign against them. This again is false victim mentality because the real victims here are the Sikh and the Muslims, Christian’s anybody who is not Hindu, and again this is not the majority Hindu’s but it is a good portion of them and they’re the ones that are being most vocal

The above points are being used for their fake Hinduphobia petition so they are emphasizing everything because they’re not the victims here, rarely, it’s the Sikhs, Muslims and other minority groups. ,

NDP leader S. @theJagmeetSingh spoke in Punjabi in parliament today, expressing his concerns about connection b/w Indian govt & assassination of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
