🎉 Congratulations to Valerie Casserly – HSE Spark Innovator of the Month!
Her project reshapes a traditional referral pathway to reduce wait times, save money & free up clinic space.

Delighted to bring the story of ‘BabyTalk: Speak, Sing, Read to your Baby’ to a national audience at #SparkSummit25.
The Summit celebrates creativity, collaboration and meaningful change in our health service and it was a pleasure to share the stage with such powerful leaders
Many thanks @dcediy and @LGMAIreland for visiting our unit to hear #Babytalk results and see it in action- we look forward to collaborating and working with our other stakeholders @louthcoco@ProgrammeSpark@EarlyChildhdIRL to promote “speak, read and sing to your baby”
@criminographer Truely devastating to hear of your unimaginable tragedy and loss, I can’t begin to imagine. Sending prayers and thoughts with donation at this time to you all
An inspiring morning spent at 3rd annual RCSI clinical audit meeting last week- brilliant examples of MDT healthcare audits making positive change and a great opportunity to present BabyTalk on behalf of our project team to a wider audience
This week marked the launch of our Diversity and Inclusion strand of BabyTalk. Further expanding our collaboration between our Neonatal Unit, Health Libraries Ireland and Louth County Library, we are pleased to now include OWLET: Lullabies of the World (1/6)
As our audit has shown, reading, speaking and music play a valuable role in the NICU and OWLET focuses on lullabies to support children’s identity and sense of belonging. Lullabies in different languages foster development of positive attitudes to diversity and identity (5/6)
