Our province, @ABDanielleSmith and our health care system are all broken. Danielle Smith, you need to resign. #abpoli #abgov #abhealth

@NatePike @JasonOnTheDrums The irony. Threatening the life of someone who’s job it is to save and protect lives. Sorry you’re going through this Nate. Despicable.

I’m an MD with hearing loss. My hearing aid worry was using a stethoscope. Tapping hearing aids activates Siri. Like inserting the stethoscope ear pieces. Then, if you say “big breaths”, Siri says “Ok, I’m searching the Internet for big breasts”. At least only you hear that.

Some of the scenes I witnessed last night in Edmonton at various warming centres, shelters & encampments of the unhoused community. This doesn’t even portray the severity of the situation. I was shocked at how many encampments there are.
There were volunteers with Bear Claw Patrol & others working to help the humans survive amidst the bowels of hell of homelessness, mental health, addiction & displacement in this -33 weather.

I'm creating a list of restaurants & other businesses/locations that are opening their doors for those who need to warm up. Some are also offering hot drink &/or food. I'll continue to add to this thread as I hear of more.

Enoch Cree Nation has opened a shelter at Coliseum Inn in Edmonton with capacity for 100, however they need staff because they only have enough staff to offer 10 beds right now. Info on where to send resume:

Do you think that safety nets under the Golden Gate Bridge is a good idea? Do you think covering the railings with fencing on the High Level Bridge was reasonable?

Congrats. You believe in harm reduction

Let's talk about how @ABDanielleSmith is dismantling safety nets
