Football opinions and thoughts. Think without bias and emotion. It’s a lot more fun and you learn more. We don’t all have to agree but we all love the game ⚽️

[Dan @d_fanch]

Wow what a signing. Huge potential, could be 80m+ with a good season or too

🚨 Lucas Gourna-Douath undergoing medical ahead of joining Hull City from RB Salzburg. Deal agreed between #HCFC & #Salzburg for 23yo defensive midfielder worth €4m + personal terms in place on 5yr contract through June 2031 @TheAthleticFC after @sebnonda https://t.co/kKHvz9MCn6

@WayneinRome @rajsinghchohan this follows on from my thread, good read

[Dan @d_fanch]

@rajsinghchohan @MindOfMolina it all ages ago but they refused, we have good talents, hence the fairly recent youth tournament wins but never develop them at club level in the league, I think only 35% or so players are Italian in the league

[Dan @d_fanch]

@rajsinghchohan @MindOfMolina now it relies heavily on foreign players past their prime, and struggles to develop any talent in its own league. Says it all when 2 of italys top talents are playing for Dortmund and their best players, Donna and Tonali and playing in the prem. Baggio wanted to change cont…

[Dan @d_fanch]

@CFCRetro @rajsinghchohan this is just straight up bullying

[Dan @d_fanch]

Just a ridiculous cheat code

Cech to Drogba - The biggest build-up play cheat code in modern football?

Here are four clips from the Emirates in ‘09

Bro’s got the coastal erosion haircut

[auggs. @auggsoriginal]

just go bald man

[Dan @d_fanch]

Joao Pedro is going to have a special special season

[Dan @d_fanch]

This is why just looking at stats is pointless. Donna was asked to knock it long to bypass the high Bayern press, he would often kick it into space or high up the pitch for a throw in to allow the team to squeeze up, as they have no target man. Same as their kickoffs tactic

[Baldiola @TeacherOfBall]

Donnarumma only completed ONE long ball out of 21 attempts, yet PSG still won the game with a clean sheet

This is why shot stopping is BY FAR the most important thing, not distribution

#EdersonOut

[Dan @d_fanch]

Mora is going to be very special isn’t he

[Dan @d_fanch]

Woltemade is going to change the game. Such a unique profile - tall, can hold up, link up, score all types of goals, head. Special

[Dan @d_fanch]

Fucking hell man, he still walks into every team in a deeper role

Lionel Messi Vs Porto

Still Got It.

[Dan @d_fanch]

don’t have to squint so much now

[Dan @d_fanch]

@rajsinghchohan If you squint when watching Vitinha you can see it’s Modric v2. Can’t unsee it

[Dan @d_fanch]

@NoRaptorsNoLife @PremLeaguePanel Not on the level of the other 2, but could provide a different option at LB

[Dan @d_fanch]

Kyle Walker’s defensive awareness is appalling and always has been. He is 4 yards ahead goal side, and still reacts so late that he gets beaten. Used to have his pace to bail him out of stuff like that but now that’s going he offers nothing. Has to be James/TAA only from now on

[Dan @d_fanch]

Desire Doue will win a Balon’dor

[Dan @d_fanch]

@deanwoodward He’s been so bad for us, has the bozo trait too 😂

[Dan @d_fanch]

@deanwoodward That’s mustard mate, top work 👏🏼
