Do we seriously have to sit our summer exams whilst they’re cancelled for A Level and GCSE students? Are we really gonna go through this again? @teachBTEC @Pearson_UK

[MR @MarcusRashford]

A reminder...

[deborah fitton @d_fitton]

@jvictor7 @Word_Service Year 13 doing BTEC law, business and criminology 🙈 what about you?

[deborah fitton @d_fitton]

@Word_Service @jvictor7 It’s been an absolute nightmare for the hasn’t it 😔 not good for a lot of students, on line doesn’t suit everyone! My daughter much prefers face to face learning so missed so much education over this last 12 months! Not good for their end of course grades 😔

[Paul Brand @PaulBrandITV]

Many BTEC students have had an awful night not knowing if they’re sitting exams at 9am.

“It’s nearly 4am and I haven’t slept. The anxiety around these exams has raised my stress levels beyond their maximum limit. This is unfair and pure evil. These exams NEED to get cancelled.”

[Jasmine Andersson @the__chez]

BTEC students forced to sit exams in lockdown feel ‘pushed to the side’ after other tests have been cancelled.

Confused reigns king over the January exams for the students – and what the lack of information is saying about the future of the qualification

[Abbey @house123__]

tomorrow I will be attending college during a national lock down to sit my #btec2021 exam. btec students have been let down.

[The British Youth Party @BritYouParty]

@BorisJohnson is more concerned about wanting to the the first to have a vaccine, the first to vaccinate everyone. The first. All he wants is to be the first. But the vaccine will take time. He needs to take more action and start by cancelling btec exams! #btec2021 #cancelbtec

[Nicola @nicandgaz]

@WGHealthandCare Why are BTEC students still being asked to attend college to sit exams this week? Is the advice to drive or use public transport? Mixing of students from all over SE Wales where rates are very high 🤷🏽‍♀️crazy!Lack of clarity over grades/resits is impacting their mental health also.

[DoñaQuixota @QuixotaDona]

@10DowningStreet Why have you risked the mental and physical health of 135,000 #BTEC students for an exam and lessons at the height of a pandemic in January unnecessarily. Their families and the teachers and invigilators at risk too. Disgraceful @AoC_info @Keir_Starmer

[DoñaQuixota @QuixotaDona]

@Keir_Starmer @educationgovuk @ofqual @PearsonEdexcel

Sir Keir you are fighting the corner for nurseries how about the 135,000 #BTEC students forced on to transport, school lessons and exams this past week and the rest of January?

[DoñaQuixota @QuixotaDona]

@SadiqKhan @AoCDavidH @PaulBrandITV @Keir_Starmer @MattHancock absolutely disgraceful that this level of prejudice is allowed towards #BTEC
