Walmart and Safeway still hv Taylor Farms lettuce packaged products on their shelves. I made an inquiry about them and was told they can’t arbitrarily remove — must receive confirmation recall from CDC or FDA — that I can go ahead and purchase then get refund if those products are placed on recall. SMH I said by then I cld hv cyclosporiasis

🤔Interesting —- 🧐Taylor Farms reminds me of FDA recall in years past.

in this area, I believe Walmart, Safeway and COSTCO veggie salad packages are from Taylor Farms which is located in Salinas CA. A few yrs ago there were salad package recalls by the FDA from Salinas so this is not something new. I don’t recall which parasite was involved. I followed instructions: threw the salad packages in trash as well as applied for refunds. All I had to do was send the upc # to the stores to get refunds. The difference this yr I didn’t receive an FDA recall. Just looked in my FDA email folder.
