@meghas Often it's fine, but sometimes the content in the email is not appropriate for a "Thanks" signoff. In the context of some emails it can come off snarky or incongruous. This often occurs when "Thanks" is included with the auto populated signature and the sender forgets.
@meghas Curious, what do you prefer? I get annoyed (and giggle) when people include "Thanks" in their signature file and forget it's there when they write an email that should not include "thanks" as a close.
Online shopping is convenient, but sometimes a real person can do things the computer can't - and they can make your day in the process. Called @REI and got just what I needed for Christmas. Thanks!
I’m a jargon-buster. Acronyms, abbreviations, etc.=zero to very low tolerance. Now, I’ve always known STD to stand for sexually transmitted disease. This week it was inside a work email and I was puzzled. I’m told it’s now also save the date. Let’s just write it out please!
@JetBlue 25+ passengers. All at gate. No one aware of change of airport 45 min prior to departure. Gate staff confirmed on time but made no communication as to change of airport. Clueless as to what to do and where to go. Only "you need to go to LGA."
@JetBlue As a loyal fan and always true to blue, I'm stunned and disappointed. How do u fly ppl to one airport and change the connecting flight to depart elsewhere w/o warning and w/o transport?! #EpicFail#customerservicefail
@JetBlue Unacceptable. Zero passenger communication. Forced passengers to retrieve luggage, find and pay for their own ride to LGA and "bill it back to JetBlue?" This is not #CustomerService#failure
@jazzfest what's up with the sound this year? Super disappointing multiple stages, multiple days. Can't hear the instruments. Can't hear vocals. Not like you to #fail.
