Seedance 2.5: Park Chan-wook Match Cuts, Every Cut a Circle
Pick the shape before you pick the shots.
Every cut here lands on a circle held dead centre. Eye, plate, record label, umbrella, lamp. The subject changes completely and the composition never moves.
Fifteen seconds, Seedance 2.5. Prompt below 👇
@HatsCapsForYou Good one, and you proved your own point by breaking the cookie. That slow move along the crumbly edge is the shot doing all the work, everything else is just packaging.
@OleksaFrame Ok now I am hungry, thanks for that. The salami landing in the sauce and throwing that crown is the shot of the whole thing, I would happily watch a minute of just that.
@by_anastasiia Love this. Blue and gold is completely yours and the whole thing feels like one idea. The keyboard turning into a runway made me laugh out loud.
@SvitlanaVideoAI Ok this is beautiful, I watched it three times. The moment it drops through the water into the reef made me sit up. And it all happens in one breath, no cuts anywhere.
@HatsCapsForYou The client loses here, not you. A moon that melts the wall is a better idea than a lamp on a nightstand, and no brief would ever have asked for it. Keep the take.
@OleksaFrame@dreamina_ai Agreed, and the hands are not even the hard part. The container fills cumulatively, red first, then white onion sitting on top of the red, then carrot on top of both, and none of it resets between shots. That is the continuity that usually collapses.
@amadeus_NFT Opening on an iris from one white dot is a proper old cartoon move and it buys you a lot in fifteen seconds. And the separated blocks clearly paid off, the type stays flat behind him the whole way.👏
@BerdolaDesign Building the letters out of the same material as each look is the smartest thing here. And the transitions go soft, sharp, shattered in the same order as the three words. 👏
wow! Gondry used pylons and houses, neutral stuff with a beat laid over it. You put objects in there that are already percussion. Pots, gongs, bamboo pipes, a guy pounding with a pole. So the landscape is not carrying the rhythm, it is playing it. That is already past the reference.
If you want to push it further, tie the tempo to the boat speed, so slowing down becomes a tempo change instead of a mistake.
@ivanka_humeniuk Nice one! Cherries with trumpets, obviously. But the part I keep going back to is the pull tab. It is the only real footage in the whole thing and it sits exactly on the seam between the clay world and the comic one, so that hand is doing all the stitching.
@framegeist Whoa, this is very cool man! The vibe hits exactly the way it should. Thanks for the shout. I can see you reworked the prompt a bit and it came out really well.
@HannaHnatiuk Yes, and the wink got me. She holds that stoic face through a flour explosion, a zero gravity pizza and a drone flight into a furnace, then breaks it with one eyebrow right at the end. Refusing to react for thirty seconds is what makes the last two work.
@nastassiavideo This came out genuinely hot, and the camcorder look is why. In clean 4K it would have been a lookbook. The shake and the timestamp make it feel like someone found the tape.
@aimagica_tania Ok the cocoon part got me. And the green in the eyes holds through all three of them, which is your caption already, only nobody has to read it.
