And so I was given a bill of over 8k in a month. I was furious considering they never take my meter reading. I complained though, they promised they will investigate but I should still pay. Where the money?

Still on this electricity issue, do you know you can dispute an estimated bill if you are an unmetered consumer?
If you do not dispute an electricity bill, you are obligated to pay for it.

Dear Nigerians,
You will recall that a few weeks ago I presented a Bill to Criminalize Estimated Billing by Electricity ⚡️ Distribution Companies which was debated and passed for 2nd reading on 17th April,2018. The Bill comes up for PUBLIC HEARING on Tues.June 5, 2018 (1/2)
@IFM923. Good morning once again. The man in the studio doesn't know that there is a possibility of just acing right when you are there but when they are amongst themselves, they say maintain status quo.
@IFM923 Good morning. Please let make the Twitter and WhatsApp contacts be available to the public. Not only SARS but the conventional policemen too should be monitored. #talkradio
It's unfortunate that it seems so but this isn't what we want. But over the years our minds have been warped so much that we don't know how to get what we want. If this is what we want why would people be travelling to seek better life elsewhere https://t.co/NXMvxX6NZK
I am no longer sure that Nigerians can identify Quality leadership when they see one. So good people vying for elective office might just be wasting their time! Looks like what we have now is what we really want!
@ddailyreport @starfm101_5 @ifyonyegbule@ofenkwuire Any empowerment program that doesn't encourage the liberation of the mind is just re-enforcement of poverty.
Dear CBN, it’s time for all ATMs to dispense up to N50k per withdrawal in 🇳🇬 irrespective of bank cards. The N10k maximum per withdrawal is cheating if consumers have to pay N65 withdrawal charges! Kilode?
@Complaintsboxng@purrples @CPCNig It is an important development. It will be more consumer news worthy when we are able to guide consumers about the process and ease of access. Certain that is forthcoming shortly, and CPC will execute an awareness initiative around that.
@lasgcopa Good morning. Please I want to lay a complain about Ikeja Electric and their incessant and outrageous guestimates billing without recourse to meter reading. Can I make the complaints here?
But you didn't respond to me ooo. I want to complain about how Ikeja electric has been consistently reaping us off at Alimosho i.e Idimu undertaking https://t.co/YwJi9Mn1ms
I want to align my tots with Gbolaoba. The strategy must be re-engineered. For success to be recorded the fight must be institutionalized https://t.co/Fk0BM0MtQU
@gbolaoba@Dictionarycom Good evening Egbon Gbolaoba. I am listening to you in star FM 101.5. Please, some of us want to participate on twitter. Help us suggest to them. Thanks
We have meter at #16, salvation street Powerline bus stop but they never come in to read it and constantly bring over estimated bills. We oblige to pay as good citizens but it is now suffocating us. Please help a drowning customer. Thanks. https://t.co/Lcih75HFLp
