Peter Obi refused to fund hospitals and medical schools through a system where funds were stolen.
He chose direct funding instead.
Doctors then went on strike for 13 months.
Yet these mad people want you to believe he didn’t care about doctors.
DONT LET THEM TRICK YOU O.
Sowore 🗣️: while Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra, doctors went on strike for 13 months.
You might like Obi as a person but he did not perform as a governor.
Peter Obi🗣️: He said doctors went on strike for 13 months but he did not tell you why the doctors went on strike.
When I became a governor, our hospitals was nothing to write home about and when the government sends money for things to be fixed, they will divert the money to personal accounts and the problem persists, so we developed a new strategy of partnering with agencies and private hospitals through funding.
This made the doctors angry hence the strike.
If you’re doing something good, those benefiting from it for being bad will agitate, if other ways of getting it right upset them we will not stop doing what is right, let them agitate.
Go to Anambra today, we have the highest teaching hospitals and nursing schools compared to any other state in Nigeria.
This is what leadership entails.
You can’t deny that a handful of people are benefiting from the coarse and corruption going on in Nigeria right now, imagine trying to stope those coarse, they will fight back and them fighting back does not mean something worse is about to happen, it means food is being taken away from their mouth and they need to fight to survive because they only thrive in coarse.
This is why I chose @PeterObi as my presidential candidate, we have tested his capacity and capability as a governor, he will fix Nigeria as a president.
Hurts me to say this: Africa will not be saved by entrepreneurship. We cannot vibecode ourselves into the 4th industrial revolution. We still need to industrialize. To achieve this, we need stronger and better public institutions. We need extremely competent leaders at the helm.

Once upon a time, a nation called Persia gave shelter to 4,000 Muslims.
100 years later, the Parsis were wiped out from their own home.
Today, that nation is Iran.
Just thought you should know.
