BREAKING: Iran is preparing a full withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a revision of Iran's defense doctrine, saying "there is no reason for Iran to remain in the NPT" after US attacks, with the proposal being formally submitted to Iran’s parliament today, per Iranian MP Ravanbakhsh.

Ravanbakhsh says Iran must "exit from this treaty and revise the defensive doctrine of the Islamic Republic at the earliest opportunity."

A second MP, Akhlaqi-Amiri, has also formally requested Iran’s NPT exit and defense doctrine revision, citing the US "savage attack on Iran," the killing of the Supreme Leader and commanders/citizens, and repeated US violations of commitments.
