@IntuitMachine @OpenAI Heard somewhere that (like openAI) they don’t get the hallucinating under control and (unlike openAI) regard this issue as too severe to go public. Not sure where that info came from tho - maybe Gary Markus on Ezra Klein Show.

@IntuitMachine Situations in which it is unclear whether we communicate with a person or a machine will be so ubiquitous that culture will have to adapt to it anyway. Ending the uncertainty for AIs with visible components does not solve the wider issue.

@IntuitMachine Interesting thought. But confining the signal to a channel (video) that is not always the medium of interaction leads inadvertently to incongruity and incongruent signals are difficult to establish.
I am thinking of AI-service chat/phone bots - they will be plenty but not visual
