Still thinking back to how I released this game only 2 weeks after the page went live with little to no effort made to market it but somehow is my most successful one yet, which got me questioning about everything I knew ever about game marketing
@KyleDGamedev i’m just unironically okay with spending weeks drawing a scene or anything regardless of how insignificant it may be in the grand scheme of the entire game.
im not talented from the get go, but i’ve learned to be patient and trusting the process.
I had the honor to participate in an interview as an award winner in Taipei Game Show!
Definitely check this interview out if you want to watch 10 minutes of me awkwardly answering questions about my silly frog game :]
[Taipei Game Show Announcement]
Best Student Game winner @daSmellyfrog is hopping into the interview with his adorable pixel adventure -Froggo's Adventure: Drifting Sky!
🐸Meet Froggo, a frog who zips his tongue, gobbles up enemies, and spits them right back as weapons. As chaotic and charming as he looks. We sat down with developer Shane to talk pixel art, music, level design, and the story behind this gem.

@PondsideGames Aside from obviously inspired by these two series, I just think about what kind of places I want to explore, or adventures that I'd like to personally experience!
I can draw inspirations from anything, really, and especially so for environmental design stuff as of late.
