Haiti was the first Latino country. Also the first Latino country to earn its independence. Latino people are from countries found in Latin America. Hispanics are people who were colonized by the Spanish and speak Spanish. Latino is not a race. Black Latinos are everywhere.

Why did the West punish the first black republic?. it was the first black republic to officially outlaws slavery, and they never forgive that country. Did you know? That Haiti defeated the British, the French and the Spanish. And they have punished that country ever since over 200 years.. the first country to outlaw slavery.

#IndigenousPeoplesDay Columbus brought Portugal’s plantation blueprint to the Caribbean: slavery, sugar, coffee, deforestation. Haiti is the 1st Spanish settlement, & it’s environmental struggles aren’t “Black mismanagement”. They are legacy of EU colonialism.
